The Everything Marketplaces community has quickly grown to 2,200+ marketplace founders, teams, & leaders. With the growth of the community, we've been focused on creating stronger connections with our members. This is one of the reasons why you'll notice that we've started doing meetups in cities like San Francisco more regularly, which also helps bring together and build up the local marketplace startup community.

We recently held a community & marketplace meetup on 2/28 in San Francisco, which was at Headline. We had a really great turnout with 65+ marketplace founders, along with teams & leaders from marketplaces like Thumbtack, Airbnb, Turo, Flexport, eBay, and more attending. We also had some of our past group chat guests like Sander Daniels, Tom Wang, and Andrew Blachman join us. It was one of our smaller meetups, where we all had a chance to meet and have a fun evening chatting about marketplaces. We shared a recap post with 50+ pictures in the community that you can see here. We wanted to share more about it on our blog to help highlight some of our San Francisco community members.
