We're sharing a community announcement on our blog from Mike Williams, announcing our newest member to join the Everything Marketplaces team. This was originally shared as an announcement post in the community here.

Hey all, a few of you heard about it last week on some of our events where I mentioned it, but I’m super excited to announce that Erika Khanna has officially joined the Everything Marketplaces team!

For those that don’t know Erika, she has some really awesome experience at startups (even marketplaces!) in the past working directly with founders at the earliest stages, to helping them scale to 75+ team members. She also has recent experience at Sequoia where she worked with the platform & people teams, so brings incredible experience at a top venture fund and helping them support portfolio companies.

This is a big addition to the Everything Marketplaces team and Erika will officially be our "Platform & Community Manager". She’ll be bringing her people, community, and building processes experience here to help support founders in the community as we continue to scale. I’ll still be here, on all of our events, etc, but Erika will be taking the lead on the platform and community. This means that you’ll start to see her active here helping improve the member onboarding experience, our communications, facilitating connections with members, our community events, developing resources to help support founders across various stages, and also implementing feedback as she plays a key role in helping drive the roadmap for the community.

She’ll be posting an introduction to introduce herself more formally in the Introduce Yourself space soon, but I wanted to share the big news here with you and all please be sure to go reply with a warm welcome once she has a chance to post if you can.

Lastly, a big thanks to everyone for being so supportive and also sharing feedback so we can continue to improve the community and make it an unfair advantage for all of our members. We’re building something special (and really needed!) for the world of marketplaces and just getting started!
